Critics praise the two young musicians for their perfect ensemble, their deep, soulful sound and their varied, witty presented programs, In the 2025\/26 season Beham and Goldstein will make appearances at well known festivals like \u201eEurop\u00e4ische Wochen Passau\u201c, \u201eAmmersserenade\u201c, \u201eInternational South Bohemian Music Festival\u201d etc. but also in Schloss Nymphenburg, Rathausprunksaal Landshut, Kaisersaal des Klosters Wettenhausen, Konzertsaal der Europ\u00e4ischen Wochen Passau, Herrenhaus Bannacker (Augsburg), B\u00fcrgersaal Plattling, Kloster Metten, F\u00fcrsterzbisch\u00f6fliches Opernhaus Passau, but also in Berlin and Dresden. Concert tours have taken them to many cities in Bavaria, Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg, central and northern Germany, Poland and the Czech Republic. In summer 2024, they released a CD entitled \u201cMusikalische Zeitreise\u201d. It features works by Mozart, Schubert, Va\u0148hal, Elgar, Brahms and Saint-Sa\u00ebns. They work together with composers such as Philipp Ortmeier. They are supported by the association Initiative f\u00fcr Musik e. V. Christoph Goldstein<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Christoph Goldstein<\/strong> studied violin, viola, conducting, musicology and music education. Together with his duo partner Johannes Beham, he performs throughout Germany and other European countries. In Landshut, he ist he conductor of a symphony orchestra and the Niederbayerisches Kammerorchester. Christoph Goldstein plays a violin made in 1765 by the Florentine violin maker Gasparo Piattellini, a violin by the Mittenwald violin maker Georg Klotz (1687\u20131737) and a viola by the F\u00fcssen violin maker Simpert Niggel (1710\u20131785). Christoph Goldstein is also dedicated to musicology and music education. In November 2024, he gained a PhD (University of Regensburg) about the composer, writer and music educator August Halm (1869\u20131929) entitled \"Halm giebt den Menschen neue Ohren. \u2013 Untersuchungen zu August Halms Biographie, Violin\u00fcbung und kompositorischem Schaffen\" (Halm's biography, his music and educational works). The book will be published by B\u00e4renreiter in 2027. Christoph Goldstein publishes regularly in newspapers such as Neue Musikzeitung, journals like \u00dcben&Musizieren, Diskussion Musikp\u00e4dagogik and writes for encyclopaedias like Musik in Geschichte und Gegenwart.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Johannes Beham<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Johannes Beham<\/strong> was at a very young age, already highly attracted to the sound of the piano. However, he did not receive his first piano lessons until he was 12 years old. Sybille Ortner was one of his first important teachers. Just three years later, he attended the Berufsfachschule f\u00fcr Musik in Plattling. At the same time he took piano lessons with the renowned Passau pianist Peter Walchsh\u00e4usl, who prepared him intensively for the Mozarteum in Salzburg. Johannes Beham studied there until he went on to the Pilsen Conservatory to join the piano class of the director Miroslav Brejcha. Because of that, he learned Czech within a few months. After completing his studies, he got to know one of his most important mentors, the pianist Christoph Schmid. Johannes Beham loves learning languages: besides German, English and Czech, he speaks Spanish and French fluently, which helps a lot when the duo is on the road to play concerts abroad. Since 2021 he plays together with his duopartner Christoph Goldstein throughout Germany and other european countries. They also perform at well-known festivals such as the Europ\u00e4ische Wochen Passau, the AMMERSEErenade and the International South Bohemian Music Festival. Johannes Beham also works as a choir director and organist. Social engagement is also very important for him. Together with his duo partner, he regularly gives charity concerts for organisations such as the Niederbayerisches Kinderpalliativ Team, Malteser etc. With the format \u201eKlassik unterwegs\u201c, they bring classical music to retirement homes and clinics under the auspices of the Europ\u00e4ische Wochen Passau.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
